Three Things I’d Bring To A Desert Island & Why

It’s been a quick minute since I last uploaded a blog post and to get back in the swing of things I decided I wanted to do a post that’s a little bit light hearted and fun.

Today I’m going to be telling you three things I’d take to a desert island and why. (This actually appeared on my 100 Blog Post Ideas for Beauty & Lifestyle Bloggers which you can check out

I could sit here and list endless amounts of people that I’d bring with me, but for the sake of this post, I’m not going to include people, just things. So, let’s go.

1. Harry Potter & The Deathly Hollows

Harry Potter is my all time favourite book series, movie series and just favourite thing in general, so there’s no way I’d go anywhere without something Harry Potter themed.

The reason I’d bring this book in particular is because one, have you seen how long it is? It would keep me entertain for a quite a while, and it’s one of those books that I can read again and again without getting bored.

Seeing as I wouldn’t be able to bring my phone (because no electricity, obviously) I’d need a good book.

2. An Oversized Jumper

This may seem a bit strange but, there’s nothing better than a good oversized jumper. Could you imagine sitting around a fire in your oversized jumper reading Harry Potter? Sounds like absolute bliss to me.

Honestly though, I wear jumpers 85% of the time, so naturally one would have to come with me. My perfect choice would be one of my boyfriends jumpers. Not only because men’s jumpers are super soft and cosy, but it would also smell like him, which is an added plus.

3. Pasta, lots of pasta

I love pasta. It’s my favourite food and I think it tastes good with almost anything. Yes, it would be very plain, but, I couldn’t live without it.

Also I think pasta has a long shelf life so it would stay good for quite some time?

And because I’d be on my own I could finally eat pasta everyday for breakfast, lunch and dinner without anyone judging!

Obviously this post is just a bit of fun and if it actually came down to it, I’d probably bring more practical things but for now what I chose seems like the perfect choices for me.
